The Sustainable Transport Challenge is back for its third year! Once again we are looking for bold and adventurous teams of young people to take on our Sustainable Transport Challenge and plan a journey!
This launch event is aimed at teachers and STEM Club leaders, and will cover:
- The challenge outline
- Your participation options - the Sustainable Transport Challenge @School or the Sustainable Transport Challenge in a day
- Supporting resources and activities to engage learners in climate education
- Deadlines and submitting your students' fantastic ideas
What is the Sustainable Transport Challenge?
In teams of no more than 6, students are asked to design a journey and think about not just the sustainable vehicle to complete their journey but how to make the route as climate resiliant as possible. The aim is to design their mode of transport and adapt their route in a way that will bring positive benefits to people and the planet.
